An Abingdon-based company is expanding its Wytheville operation with help from the Joint Industrial Development Authority of Wythe County, Wytheville and Rural Retreat.   Appalachian Cast Products Inc. will invest $1.6 million in a building expansion and additional equipment creating 16 new jobs and saving 12 jobs.

Cabela’s coming to Bristol, Va.

A new development for exit 5 in Bristol will feature outdoor shop Cabela’s.   The announcement was made at a press conference Wednesday morning. The expected completion date is 2014.
